Welcome to our blog. We are the children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of Lillian Kaplun. We are also her friends, her former students, and her fans.
Lillian was a part of our lives and, thus, she became a part of who we are, today. But, ever the student, herself, she allowed us to become a part of who she was, as well. The constant refining of recipes for which she was known is a metaphor for the way she lived her life. She always welcomed new developments and she was always open to new ideas; thus, she loved to form new friendships and to welcome these new friends into her life and home.
We have established this blog to celebrate Lillian’s contributions to our lives and to the culinary world.
